On the occasion of 20th Cancer Research Day, the Slovak Cancer Research Foundation organizes
The Slovak Cancer Research Foundation invites young oncology research enthusiasts to a unique event that supports their scientific growth and offers a platform to present their ideas and results.
From March 9–10, 2026 undergraduate students, PhD candidates, and postdocs up to 35 years of age will compete in three categories. Participants can look forward to a stimulating professional atmosphere, opportunities to refine their presentation skills, and meaningful discussions with peers and respected experts in the field.
The event highlights networking, mentorship, and motivation for further advancement in cancer research, rather than competition alone.
All contributions will be included in the Proceedings. While many PhD students already have publishing experience, for numerous undergraduate participants this will serve as their first opportunity to contribute to a scientific publication.
