Michal is a data science specialist in cancer medicine, with over 15 years of experience in omics data interpretation powered by robust AI methodologies. He earned his Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford (2016) and a PhD in Genetics from Comenius University (2007).
He has previously held research positions at the Universities of Oxford and Basel, and currently serves as a professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Slovak University of Technology. There, he leads the research group Laboratories Brainworks, focusing on advanced computational approaches in biomedical research.
